About the Tournament
VIDIT CHESS TOUR is an online tournament staged from 21st February onwards, hosted on the Chess24 platform which provides a unique chance to all the budding chess players to stand a chance to win Amazing cash prizes + Chess gifts/hampers. The top 8 players directly qualify for the Indian Qualifiers of the Meltwater Champions Chess Tour 2021.
The tournament is conducted in association with Chess24 India and supported by GM Vidit Gujrathi. It is a unique opportunity for the Chess players – rated and unrated to compete and emerge as the champions paving their way towards Chess journey. The prize pool for the event is USD 20000 (Cash prize + giveaways) and with every registration a player gets 1 month Play Magnus plus membership.

The knockout stages ie. Round of 16, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Finals will be broadcast live exclusively on Chess24 India Youtube channel with GM Vidit Gujrathi.
Since the start of the Pandemic and Netflix Hit TV show, “The Queen’s Gambit” people have shown great interest in this game. This is our attempt to influence people and popularize this ancient game.

Terms & Conditions
- Participants kindly register with a valid email id because the same will be used to send the tournament information and brochure.
- Every participant has to create a free Chess24 and Tornelo account before registering for the tournament. Registrations will be accepted only post that.
- Every participant will be sent an email with an official confirmation for the successful registration for Vidit Chess Tour along with the Event information.
