Vidit Gujrathi announced as the Brand Ambassador of FIDE Online Arena

India #2, Vidit Gujrathi is roped in as the Brand Ambassador of FIDE Online Arena, the official playing platform of FIDE. FIDE Online Arena is the official gaming platform of FIDE wherein players can obtain online titles recognized by FIDE and play against the titled players.

As a part of this partnership, Vidit will be supporting young talent on the platform by producing some educational content and even playing with some users. He will also live stream, play online tournaments and do commentary for special events. Few lucky players will also receive personal congratulatory messages from the Grandmaster on achieving FOA titles, approved by FIDE.

On this association, GM Vidit Gujrathi said “Over the last two years we have seen a boom in online chess, which offers great opportunities for both professional chess players and those just starting their chess journey. As the FIDE Online Arena Ambassador, I will not only be playing and streaming, but I will also be able to contribute to a motivational programme for all users of the platform and hopefully help many chess players obtain official online ratings and online titles recognised by FIDE”.

The young Grandmaster is also a successful chess entertainer and streamer. With a vast social media presence, Vidit is a Youtube star. He regularly streams and publishes educational content which is popular amongst his subscribers.
